Hi everyone!!! Well our wedding date was going to be Oct. 16 of this year, but we discussed it & said that we were pushing it by the time...and we were probably not going to have time. SO! Our NEW wedding date is for Feb. 19, 2011. =D It gives us more time but we still need to go by a small budget. I did an estimate with almost everything I wanted and it was around $10,000!!! It is alot for also having 2 kids...Im hoping I can figure out a way to be able to pay for things & still have my dream initimate wedding with a small budget.

we are supposed to marry in august in his parents back yard!!! my family says they want to help but i have an aunt in the hospital and so everyone is occupied with that. i feel hopeless

I agree LaKeisha. It's hard here to find a venue that will allow you to bring in outside food. My mom had a restaurant and my mom in law is Indian and makes some unique food I want to have at the wedding. I also want to have a cotton candy machine, lol, so for me to get what I want, the way I want it, it is looking more and more like I should just have it at home and have my fantasy and fun. So we are just going to be having it in our backyard but we are lucky to have a huge back-yard though. I hope you find a venue that's perfect for you.

Well my budget is 3000-5000 and I want a place in Altanta that will allow outside catering. It is so hard alot of these places say they do but when u look up there page they don't. I want real food and my family to cook it so why can I not have it.

I know exactly what dress your are talking about and it is BAD!! That's a beautiful dress. I never would have thought about putting those colors together but I can imagine them complimenting each other very well!

I'm going to get a Pnina Tornai dress custom made as well. My mom is a seamstress so I'll have her make it unless I can find a look for less under $300. I think I might just get lucky though since I saw one I like and it was $299 and it was a Demetrios. It's similar to the one planner Sarah choose in the Say Yes To The Dress episode.

Good luck, your colors sound amazing. Our colors have now changed to plum and aqua with hints of mint green. They look so good together.

Our wedding is October this year with a $3000 - $5000 budget. Today, my mom agreed to pay the venue rental fee which is a BLESSING because now we can book the venue instead of waiting until we have more money. Our theme is Live, Laugh, Love and our colors are chocolate brown, mint green and reddish-orange(today it's reddish orange). LOL



I'm meeting with a seamtress this week to make my designer dress for ALOT less.
